I'm an aspiring author who's trying to tap into an underlooked and underappreciated audience -- the alternative kids. The weirdos. The ones who don't mind a little romance, but don't want to be beat over the head by it. The ones who like powers, but feel like all of the mainstream stories never go far enough with them.  

My writing is inspired by sci-fi, the X-Men, and rock and roll music. I love to read (my favorite genre is post-apocalyptic), listen to music (I mainly love all things rock, but I'm game for anything with a good message), and play roller derby.
