I'm a 49 year old bored construction professional. I like to read witty books with sarcasm and a realistic view of how people react in situations. Vinyl Detective, Sandman Slim, Dresden Files, anything by Gaiman.

I'm writing my first novel, because the themes are there and won't leave me alone, because I have time (apparently), and because I'm hoping it'll feel like I've achieved something for a change.

I like Sci-fi, messing around with technology, writing and playing music on guitar, and helping to bring up my new family.

No-one believes I'm as shy as I really am.
