@MsChomperTheChomp Yeah the sisters were great and the child actors did a really good job. But the main character was so one dimensional and flat. I think they tried to make her similar to the first one with Max and the whole school kids vibe. But he actually had real problems and it didn’t just focus on him not being invited to so and so’s party. The girl in this felt like a mary sue, like she just happens to be a witch who conveniently knows how to use her powers off the bat. I was also frustrated that they changed the story that the sisters sold their soul to the devil which is brought up in the first one a lot. Instead a witch gifted them the book. And the book that has been with them for 300+ years that also has been trying to resurrect them for all this time, wanted to just let them die because they did one spell he thought was bad. Even though they literally eat children and have done far worse. Idk, to me it’s just full of inconsistency. The book annoys me the most though. And the redemption ending. It felt so out of character for the sisters and there wasn’t any development leading up to it. I

@mylifeisajoke7898 I saw it, Yeah it wasn't good but it wasn't the worst. I hate the kid plot but the witches themselves are at least still gold and with their child actors in the beginning, I was hoping it would be a prequel since those girls have the same energy as their older counterparts.

Alright, I finished watching Encanto.
I thought it was crap, kinda corny.
In it’s defense, most Disney films are corny. But the ending was boring and there was a few plot holes.
It didn’t grab my attention like other Disney movies. It felt similar to Moana. But Moana was more exciting.
Animation: 8/10
Story: 4/10
Music: 4/10 …. I couldn’t stand the first song.
Honestly, I just wanted to watch Book of Life halfway through. I might go do that.

@MsChomperTheChomp Yeah, definitely overrated. The last song had the same tune as ‘under the sea’ too. And the fandom is exactly why I stay away from most, if not all fandoms.
