Tony Nash is what used to be called a 'Norfolk Swede' (short for 'Swedebasher') i.e. born and bred in the County. Educated at the City of Norwich School to age 16. Obtained a good Honours Degree in Modern Languages by self-study at the age of 40. With a career that actually does include 'candlestick maker', as well as butcher and baker, he has, among other things, been a deep-sea fisherman, chip shop fryer, intrepid bird man in the RAF (navigator), top-secret code and cipher expert, senior examiner, high-speed telegraphist, remover, house clearer, professional deer stalker, long-time Secret Intelligence Services spy and Head of Modern Languages in a large comprehensive. Nine thrillers are already published on Kindle and other ebook methods, on Amazon and Smashwords. Five of them feature DCI Tony Dyce, and are set in Norfolk: 'Murder by Proxy', 'Murder on the Chess Board', 'Murder on Tiptoes', 'Murder on the Back Burner' and 'Murder on the High 'C'.' The first of a new,  grittier series, featuring DI John Hunter, of the Met. Police, is called 'Carve Up'. A second in this series, 'Mark Up', is about to be published, with others in the series to follow. There is also a Black Magic novel, 'The Devil Deals Death', and a family mystery, 'Tripled Exposure'. Two other books are finished and ready to be published, 'The Last Laugh' and 'Panic'.
