@naomi_2801 hi there, I was just looking over the story, my sisters boyfriend and saw your comment about being the middle child. To a point you are right about the middle kid being almost ignored and the absolute worst as the baby of the family is when a parent says to either the middle or the youngest, why can't you be like your older sibling. Most parents do not realize how that can destroy a child's ego or sense of self worth, or whatever you call it. For all that they care parents can do more hurt and damage than the worst of bullies out there!
