The history homework almost seemed to be staring at me in a creepy way. I sighed, knowing I'd have to do it sooner or later. Picking up my phone, I decided it could wait a little longer.
That's when I heard it.
That noise.
Something had started to snarl quietly. I jumped to my feet, dropping my mobile phone in the process.
"You need to do your homework, Fred", someone-or was it something?- said in a hoarse voice. Looking around the room, I tried to find the person who had said it.
"Down here, stupid."
I looked down at my desk to see that a small, furry thing was sitting on my history book.
I tried my best not to yelp in surprise and pushed my hair out of my eyes. "Who...what are you?", I stuttered.
"I am the homework boggart", it grumbled, getting to its tiny feet. "Normally I don't appear to people but I'm the voice in people's head that tell them to do their homework."
I couldn't speak in surprise.
"And I'm here to tell you something.
STOP PROCRASTINATING AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK!"
the end.
(I should probably do my history homework for real now, bye xD)
