          After Aubrey's parents get divorced, Aubrey runs to the park crying. There she meets Kim and Vance. They become friends and Kim introduced her to the hooligans. Aubrey now has two friend groups: The original one and the hooligans. One day, Kim and Vance steal some candy and they roughhouse and fight in the secluded area near the lake in the park over a piece of candy like they've done a million times before, But Kim pushes Vance too hard and Vance cracks his head open on a rock. Aubrey who witnessed the whole thing tells Kim to run away. The police investigate Vance's death, And Aubrey says that Kim wasn't anywhere near Vance at the time. Eventually, Vance's death is ruled as an accident. Kim shuts herself off and starts skipping school, The Maverick matured a lot after Vance's death and becomes friends with Kel, he now goes by Michael and stopped wearing his wig. Angel stopped wanting to be The Maverick protege and became a true hooligan (yes, the 10 yr old is a gang leader). Charlene becomes friends with Sunny and Basil and is trying to get into a good college and forget her hooligan past. And Aubrey starts avoiding everyone. This au starts 3 years later when Michael and Kel + Sally decide to knock on Kim's door because she's moving away in a few days.
