ㅤׅ   ╂┈ ⸼ ׄ I CAN'T HIDE FROM THE NIHILIST AT MY
DOOR ╱ after his mother's death, asahi just stopped
believing in meaning. he doesn't see a reason to form
attachments because he knows how it will eventually
end. he helps others when necessary but not out of
compassion or morality. he does it just to pass the
time. and yet, despite it all, he continues to search for
            his mother.

iv.ㅤׅ   ╂┈ ⸼ ׄ I SCREAMED OUT, GOD YOU VULTURE,
BRING HER BACK OR TAKE ME WITH HER ╱ asahi's
world ended when his mother died. everything lost it's
meaning. when she died, something impossible
happened. she was gone, but not in the ways others
were. there was no lingering presence, no voice, and
no trace of her. for someone who had spent his entire
life unable to escape the dead, this absence was more
than overwhelming. it was just a void. asahi searched
relentlessly for the person he needed most. he
revisted her final moments through his visions. he
opened himself up fully in hopes she would enter him.
he even attempted resurrection but each attempt
failed. it was like she didn't even exist in the first
place. and that broke everything in him.
