@ TheOGSheDevil 4. When it's nighttime, the reader and Meredith go to her house where the children are already waiting with dinner ready, thanks to Maggie. The dinner goes very well; the children adore the reader, and the reader adores them
Ten months have passed since the reader met Meredith's children, and it's Zola's birthday. He attends the party. While he is sitting next to Meredith and talking to Zola, she casually and without much thought says "Dad" to the reader. He is shocked, and Meredith is surprised, but she is happy that her oldest daughter is accepting the reader more and more every day.
The reader still doesn't speak, Meredith notices and takes him to a secluded spot to talk and asks if he is okay. The reader replies that he is very happy that the children love him so much that they call him Dad, but that he is also a little shocked and scared, because he never imagined being a father so young.
Meredith understands and tells him that if he wants to leave to process everything, he can. The reader wraps his arms around Meredith's waist, pulls her toward him, hugging her, and gives her a very tender kiss. He tells her he loves her very much and that he's where he's always wanted to be, with him new family, whom he loves very much.
Meredith smiles and kisses the reader for a while, until they both return to prepare everything to cut the cake.
Thank you so much for accepting all these requests, you are the best!
