♡ Update: Today, I'd like to share not a win or news about another award, but something that often goes unspoken and is just as much a part of being a writer.
          
          This year, I participated in both the Versification Poetry Contest and the Drenched Cedars Contest. Writing and submitting my poems was both exciting and a little brave. This time, though, I didn't receive a placement or an honourable mention in either of these wonderful contests.
          
          Does it hurt? Yes.
          Am I disappointed and questioning my work? Also yes.
          
          But at the same time, I had the chance to discover the poets, poems, and collections that did win—and honestly, I'm in awe. I'm genuinely grateful to have come across their work.
          
          The truth is, sometimes, other entries are simply stronger, and that's okay. It means there's still room for me to grow, learn, and keep improving alongside talented poets who love what they do.
          
          So here's to everyone who participated, and congratulations to all the winners. ♡
