Has anyone read this book - no idea what the name is but l think it was like “His City” it’s about an architect who married an orphan and they lived together like strangers. He had a strict routine and she always done as he asked. She wasn’t always obedient but when her mother died, she became the perfect wife as her mother deemed him a good husband. I remember a scene where the H’s sister came over and the h and her plotted to change his lifestyle etc but it failed. 

have you read this book I can't remember the name of in which the ml is some sardar of the village and girl comes from London to shoot some documentary with her friends and got stuck there, their friends left without and she had to live at the haveli?
