Considering I used the previous fact in an rp earlier. I believe I should provide a second one for the day.

Manatees actually have fingernails, not sharp claws but nails in the way humans have nails. They are found along the edge of the fins and are assumed to be a remnant of land-dwelling ancestors. Researchers believe that the nails have a few possible uses and that may be why the nails have not fully disappeared on the species.

A friend suggested I should provide various animal facts, do I shall post the first one:

Deep sea angler fish due to the difficulty of finding a fish of the same species in the dark vast depths of the ocean, have developed an interesting way to reproduce. The males are much smaller than the females and are considered to be parasitic. They will spend their lives searching for a female and then attaching to her. Overtime he will fully fuse to her and rely fully on her for nutrients as he dissolves all but his reproductive organs.
