I've tried so many ways to get in shape quick and I'm a swimmer, which is a hell of a lot of cardio but running for even just like a week changed so much i can't explain why
It's also, from experience, the fastest way to get abs (this is coming from months of trying weighted and unweighted ab workouts)
but yeah
and i didn't really change my diet at all, other than the fact that i randomly ate a lot of carrots
but there's my two cents
