            (        sunlight shone through the the small cracks within the hut ,      creeping through like     a slow trickle of water  .      she thought he would’ve known by now that kï’trä was a light sleeper — that once she was awake ,      she did not bother trying to go back to sleep .      her hair adorned with shells ,    now combined with some beads which had been je’tani’s doing , fell in front of her cheeks at she peered over at him , her shadow blocking some of the light .        )              dah, you are so ngong ( lazy ) .       I cannot understand ,    still to this day ,      how you can spend almost the / entire / morning in bed .
