I’m venting because whatever i love my parents….. since childhood my bday was my favourite day because they used to surprise me no matter what like there was a surprise party every fucking year after a point it didn’t even feel like a surprise because i knew there will be one and i loved it i loved the amount of efforts they always took to decorate my whole room and cover it with ton of presents…this year tho i didn’t get any presents which I’m fine with as i  asked to not give me any but i didn’t even get a cake lmao and it kind of hurt not even a chocolate lol i didn’t cut a cake on my own birthday i felt so shitty idk why they didn’t bring a cake its so unlike them i don’t know if i like growing up.

@ohniceokblahblah I'm so sorry that you had to experience that. Growing up is a tough time for me too, I feel guilty for asking for anything, but feel upset that I don't get anything. Emotions are complicated, but feeling like this is normal. There's no reason to be ashamed of how you feel, because I know I would've felt the same. Even if this happened, I hope you did spend a good day. (Happy very late birthday <3)
