Screaming into the void today

Today (August 19th) is the one year anniversary for Soleil (formerly Summer Sunshine) so to celebrate I put up two chapters instead of one! 
          
          I also made cake but I can’t share that with my readers. It was really good though. It had a peach sauce instead of frosting.

          I’m late cuz I forgot

My adhd has been winning lately and making it almost impossible to write. But the good news is that my laptop is finally fixed (it’s been broken since 2022) and I write much faster on my laptop than my phone

The more I write romance the more I wonder if I’m actually demiromantic. I really just can’t imagine falling in love with someone I don’t already know very well and it occurs to me the only (two) people I’ve ever fallen in love with were girls I was friends with; for several years in the first case and nearly a year in the second. 
          
          Also, sometimes I really just want a queerplatonic relationship. Like they seem so special and beautiful to me. That’s partly why I put a queerplatonic marriage in my book Verbena House

I have a new story up! 
          
          It is called Verbena House and it’s got lots of fun stuff including vampires, witches, lots of magic, a gay queerplatonic marriage and a queer polyamorous romance, plus lots of non-cis representation. 
          
          I saved it for pride month and I am very excited to share it. I’ve been writing this one for a while alongside Summer Sunshine since I have never been able to write just one story at a time. 
          This story is going to be much darker than Summer Sunshine so please keep that in mind if you check it out. 
          
          I’m still writing Summer Sunshine btw. It’s just taking me longer to finish chapters because of my depression making it hard to write a lighter story rn
