@onawishingstar that is true too but I think the cover should capture the overall vibe of the story but that's just me...that's why I have a hard time choosing mine because I know I cannot have flashy covers as my non-fanfics are more subdued. It's harder to choose covers when it's the story is not romance, fantasy , thriller etc.  as for who she ends up with, I'm hoping it's Kiz...hahaha...but that's just me.

          	  Point taken. I also feel having 3 characters + deadline hints at the plot better. I'm curious to know who you think she will end up :P Thank you for this idea. I'd have tried the voting thing but I have maybe 3-4 people reading this story regularly so I'm not expecting votes on any polls anytime soon xD

          	  Omg yaay! I personally love the vibe of changing it with different phases in the story. May not resonate with readers reading at a different pace but it's fun to visually see your story grow through all those stages <3 yaay to us :)

@onawishingstar that is a hard question, and I will tell you what I think of each.
          	  
          	  - Sandhya and Dash with a countdown with Kiz - this is the one that hooked me first so I may be biased towards this...and it frames the love triangle perfectly...keeps the reader wondering who will Sandhya end up with ..closer to the story structure. but it is a bit busier than the current one. 
          	  
          	  - the current one - visually, it is less busy than the one with 3 of them but it does not signal the love triangle and the framework of the story. and this one also leans more towards the romance angle than the I must find a soulmate within 14 days angle. Also it can be bit spoiler-y but honestly I think with a love triangle that you introduced...i know who I want or think i know who is going to end up with Sandhya already so it's not really much of a spoiler for me (unless you go for the throuple route). 
          	  
          	  so it depends on what you the vibe or message you want to evoke. if you are still undecided, maybe put both or even all 4 covers in a chapter and have people vote. 
          	  
          	  Or maybe you can combine elements of both covers...keeping the same type of  art and just have Sandhya reading from a spell book. 
          	  
          	  You are not the only one though who keeps changing covers (me too!!)

The Expiry of a Soulmate Spell qualified Round 1 of ONC 2026, it has 10 chapters up already and I have just written the most unhinged chapter of my entire writing life yesterday where one spell gone wrong turns into four narrative bombs and becomes the foundation for this entire series (dun dun dunnnn each character in this story will have their own story if all goes as per plan!) with an insane amount of lore-building and foreshadowing.
          
          So if you still haven't read this story, now may be the perfect time to begin <3
          
          Congratulations to all ONC round 1 qualifiers & to everyone who has achieved any personal milestone this month (yes, even trying counts). You all rock. I'm super proud of you <3
