Introduction!
Personally, when I’m reading a fic, my mind often wonders about the person who spent their time writing it, so I thought I’d do a “Get to Know the Author” kind of thing for anyone who may be curious.
That said… Hiya, lovelies! My name is Orchid. I’m from the United States, a soon to be graduate with the class of 2027, a spectacular baker, and a lover of romance. Truthfully, I only got into reading in middle school, but now it literally consumes my life, along with all the films, TV shows, and musicals I find myself obsessed with. As you can tell by my long list of favorites, I don’t have a life. If I’m not reading or watching something, I’m doomscrolling, baking, listening to music, hanging out with my best friend, daydreaming, building Legos, going on walks, playing guitar, coloring, journaling, or trying to learn more about the world. History, space, and psychology are what I enjoy learning about most. I love meeting new people. I love Pinterest. I love Substack. I love board games. I love Audrey Hobert. I collect action figures and CDs. I love cake batter ice cream. People at my school used to think I was a lesbian. I’m not. I’m just tomboyish, and I get no play. Though, I did used to play badminton. My friends make fun of me for liking country music. My biggest fears are drowning, animatronics, and dragonflies. My personalty type is INFP. My Hogwarts house is Hufflepuff. My Ilvermorny house is Thunderbird. I’m District 4. My lightsaber color is yellow. I’m a Tidemaker. My aspiration in life is to be the kindest person ever. If romantic love finds me one day, I also want to be a good mother.
