You're the sunshine that made my weathered heart bloom like a flower in spring, after a long, harsh winter. We've danced in the rain, laughing together, but also hiding our scars. We've had storms, but I realize now, those storms were just pruning seasons, cutting away the dead branches so we can grow stronger.
Love isn't the chains that bind us; it's the gardener that nurtures, watering our roots, and trimming our edges. I'm not letting go of you; I'm letting go of the weeds of pride, jealousy, and anger that choke our garden.
