A New Name--?
          	I'm considering renaming my novel...series...
Locus - Inherited: Rebirth is named the way it is because Locus is book 1, and I'm writing within a universe that I wanted to write more novels in.
That universe is "Inherited" (ie. The Spirit - Inherited),
and Rebirth is the name of the trilogy.
So my title is 3 words that seemingly have nothing to do with eachother, but they do...
Locus is very much the theme of the first novel, so I want to keep that.
I'm considering ditching the name Rebirth... and renaming the trilogy something with similar meaning within the context of the series...
"Spring Rising". Or something to that effect.
Is Locus: Spring Rising a more interesting title than the longer Locus - Inherited: Rebirth?
I liked having "inherited" in it to connect it with other books within the same universe but I'm getting the feeling it's a bit much.
My biggest concern is that I've been using "Inherited: Rebirth" as the series title since it launched in September.
          	Thoughts?

Hope everyone has had a wonderful new year!

I’m going to be publishing parts of an ongoing novel called “The Spirit” that takes place in the inherited universe.
It’s a first person novel following a character that is mentioned in the Rebirth series.

          Alex.

I’ve been planning this book for a while, just wasn’t sure when to start publishing.

This book will not have scheduled updates since it’s not my main project but it will still be a fun read- I hope :)

Thank you so much for following back, sweetie! I hope you’re having a wonderful day today! <3

I hope you enjoy it! I had a lot of fun writing it!

Thank you, for following me first! You are darling! I can’t wait to see what you’ve written. I’ve read the blurb and a lady love coffee scene sounds so cozy and delightful. I will take a peek when I’m breaking from author brain and into reader :)

I think my chapters are broken :( I don't know if anyone has this glitch, But i reordered some chapters, and then fixed them again, and now one or two chapters I think are being skipped over and over again.

I'm glad I started tracking views... it looks weird to have reads go in for several chapters except one in the middle of it all.

I'm going to try to fix chapters by unpublishing. Sorry if the publishing comes across as spam. Wattpad doesn't like me, but maybe now I've figured out why readers drop!

If anyone else has had this issue or of any fixes, please let me know. It's legit chapters 1-3 ten reads, chapter 4 had 0, chapter 5 another ten reads. And no one reads after that. I know chapter 5 doesn't suck that bad!

I got a warning that my post may be offensive.. I'm posting again to tone down my usage of the word @ss?

This will be my first week in 3 months that I am publishing... NADA.
Zip. Zero. Zilch. Owwooo that feels weird to say.

The seasons are changing, and with mental health concerns... comes well.. mental blocks. I need more time to produce quality chapters, so I'll be publishing biweekly.
It's not easy being in the head of a sarcastic a-hole when you feel like a dead fish.

Except from next weekend's update: Tortoise Does a Barrel Roll
context: barrel race. 'cause why not?

Pablo picked up the pace, shoving the barrel in front of him harder into a smooth, thunking rhythm. Garrett being a sweetheart? his sweaty @ss.

          He'd pulverize him.

He had no choice. Sansi had given him the status of a winner. He needed to defend his honorary title of fastest barrel roller. F***. He hated these people.

Excerpt from the upcoming update on Sunday:

Dead Weight IIII (On my way)

          "I said, gently!"

"I got it!" Pablo huffed, setting the barrel down carefully. Too carefully. Didn't know why he was treating Garrett's wooden harem like porcelain.

He stood up straight, but it took effort. Noodles would make better appendages than these floppy arms and legs. Just need to sit, or roll over and die. At least he'd make a useful paperweight.

I did myself in with my chapters yall—

The Other Side will be 3 chapters, so that’s 3 chapters in one week, and it usually takes one week to write a chapter because of all the rereading and editing I do before publishing.

I’m starting with a blank page just like I did with my other rewrites. Same scene, same setting and characters, anything important that was an action is still included with maybe a little more added, different pacing and movement.

I’m still working on chapter 3, but this rewrite has not left me a lot of time for editing.

I will do my best, and something will definitely be published on 11/16, whether it is the 3rd chapter of the Other Side sequence, A chapter split of the 3rd Miles Apart chapter, or the last Dead Weight chapter to finally finish Pablo’s sequence!

Thanks for sticking with the story through all of the chapter splits and rewrites.

Change of plans...

Since I don't want The Girl's voice to sound too inconsistent for long, I'll be updating the Girl's, If I Stop, on Sunday 11/9.

On 11/16, instead of publishing Pablo's final Dead Weight chapter, I'll be publishing a revision of The Girl's chapter, The Other Side.

New chapters will be published consistently from 11/23 + every Sunday.

Writing takes time and although the setting and theme is the same for revisions, I'm doing a whole whopping rewrite. The Girl's If I stop will become 2 chapters.
The Other Side may become 3.

          Thank you for your patience!

Finally, about halfway through 'Before the Fire'.

I appreciate all the patience as I've been on an alternating schedule, revising previous chapters and uploading new ones. My goal has been to introduce something new and keep readers interested. The publications weren't exactly doing the work, so I'm just trying to make it better until it grabs. :)

I'll be done with revisions (hopefully) once The Girl's chapters are written to my liking.

Miles Apart's revision was published this past weekend, along with Pablo's new chapter, 'In the Dark'.

Next week I will be publishing a revision of the first chapter, "The Girl's If I Stop."

11/16 the final Dead Weight chapter will be published.

11/23 the Girl's The Other Side will have a new published revision.

Then it's all new chapters from there.

'Before the Fire' will be nearing its end.

          Thank you for reading!
