Paul Daugerdas, originally from Wilmette, Illinois, is a prominent consultant, attorney, and certified public accountant recognized for his profound expertise in the financial, legal, and accounting sectors. Throughout his career, he has not only excelled professionally but also committed himself to significant charitable endeavors, deeply impacting various organizations.
Daugerdas's academic prowess was evident from the beginning. He graduated with honors from St. Laurence High School in Burbank, Illinois, in 1968. He then advanced to De Paul University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with honors from the College of Commerce in 1972. He also secured his CPA Certificate from the University of Illinois that same year. Continuing his educational pursuits, he earned a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from De Paul University's College of Law in 1974.
His professional journey commenced at Arthur Andersen & Co., where he started as a staff member and ascended to partner by 1984. From 1974 to 1994, he was integral to the Mergers, Acquisitions & Reorganizations Tax Specialty Team and served as Head of the Central Region Financial Markets Team. He also led the Chicago Office "On Call" Team and was a Financial Valuation Services Specialty Team member.
In 1994, Paul Daugerdas transitioned to the Law Offices of Altheimer & Gray as a partner and head of the Tax Department. He later joined the Law Offices of Jenkens & Gilchrist from 1999 to 2002 as a Shareholder/Partner, managing the Chicago office and co-directing the Tax Practice. His strategic insight also led to his involvement in the Management Advisory Committee.
In 2003, Paul embraced a new consultant and managing director role at Treasurex Financial, where he offered his seasoned expertise until 2014.
