Paul Delacourt retired from his notable 25-year career with the FBI in May 2021, leaving behind a legacy of extensive service in law enforcement.

Currently, he serves as the managing partner at Stratagem Consulting, LLC, where he leads a team that provides executive consulting on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, business development, and cyber risk awareness. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Chicago Graham School, teaching a Master's degree course in Intelligence and Analysis. Prior to retiring, Mr. Delacourt held the position of Assistant Director of the Strategic Realignment Program Management Office at FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC.

His FBI career includes serving as the Assistant Director in Charge of the Los Angeles field office for three years. In this role, he led an executive team responsible for three operational divisions, intelligence, and mission services, overseeing nearly 1500 employees across the seven counties of the Central District of California.

Mr. Delacourt also spent three years as the special agent in charge of the FBI's Honolulu field office. Before this, he worked in the Inspection Division at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., where he managed reviews of field offices, national programs, shooting incidents, and special projects.

His FBI journey began in 1995 as a special agent in the Chicago Division, focusing initially on gang and drug investigations. Post-9/11, he shifted to the Counterterrorism program, operating out of Chicago, Washington, DC, and Atlanta, GA.

Mr. Delacourt's service extended overseas with assignments to the Guantanamo Bay Task Force at FBIHQ, along with deployments in Afghanistan, Qatar, and Iraq. There, he served as the program manager for the Regime Crimes Liaison Office (RCLO), a Department of Justice initiative tasked with investigating war crimes and other serious offenses committed by Saddam Hussein and his regime.
