Nothing that I write is perfect, so I welcome constructive criticism and suggestions. Lately I've been working on poetry, but fiction is my home.

I am obsessed with other people's thoughts and experiences, so if you have a unique story to tell, chances are I want to hear it. Most of the time I am happy to edit other works, from essays to poetry, so you'll see me (hopefully) doing that a lot here. The goal is to be active on this website, so as to motivate me both to write more and to dedicate more time to simply thinking about writing.

Some of my likes include anime, math, chemistry, guitar, rap, rock, and (could you guess?) reading/writing. I have an interest in slang as I think slang is a great representation of a person's culture. Sometimes it's just hilarious, other times it's thought-provoking. My favorite anime is Shin Sekai Yori ("From the New World"), if you haven't seen it and you're into psychological/meaningful anime, it's a great one that isn't afraid to experiment.

Franz Kafka is probably my favorite writer. A lot of people think he's dark and edgy, but I actually like him most for his sense of humor. You don't write absurdist works without being a little funny. Nabokov, O'Brien, Vonnegut, Hemingway, Stein, Faulkner, Atwood, etc... the list goes on and on. Who are your favorite authors? I'm always looking for more suggestions for what to read.

Similarly, Ghali (he's Italian--check him out!), Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Stromae (a Belgian rapper), Chance, Tupac, and Nikki Minaj are some of my favorite rappers. I love rap because it allows for self-expression more than (in my opinion) any other genre of music, and that's what I'm all about. Bob Dylan, A Day to Remember, Tool, and The Strokes are some of my go-to musicians outside of rap.

Thanks for reading this far! It's nice to meet you. :)

P.S. Sorry this is long--I'm naturally talkative!
