          Chapter 25 is live!!
          
          I’ve said this before, but this is by far my favorite chapter I’ve written so far. I absolutely loved writing Caelen and Clarice in this scene, and especially getting to show Clarice’s fiery personality and the beginning of her growth into something stronger.

✨ Chapter 24 is live ✨
          
          I originally wanted this chapter to be longer, but it was already heading toward a 30+ minute read, so I decided to split it here. Still, this is genuinely one of my favorite chapters I’ve published so far… and the next one too! 
          
          This is where we start seeing real character development from both sides.

Quick note (I know no one really cares lol, but sharing anyway): I went back and adjusted the chapter numbering because splitting chapters was driving me insane.
          
          What were previously split sections are now two separate chapters:
          
          Chapter 21: A Purpose She Cannot See
          Chapter 22: A Kingdom Without Warmth
          
          Because of that, the next update will be Chapter 24, and it’ll most likely be posted tomorrow! Stay tuned!

Hi all!
          
          A new chapter has landed! …Except it got too long (again), so I split it (again). And the second part is also long. Look, I tried. I really did. But the characters said “no.”
          
          Anyway. With these two parts, we officially close the first arc of the story.
          Next up: actual character development (finally), political twists, and more unhinged Caelen/Clarice tension.

Hey everyone!
          Chapter 18 is now live. This update turned out longer than expected, so I decided to split it into two parts (chapter 18.1 and 18.2).
          
          I really struggled with this one as there was a lot of information I wanted to weave in, and this chapter marks a major peak in the current arc. It’s a confrontation between Caelen and his Queen, and the two of them have such different personalities that writing their clash was… intense, to say the least.
          
          I won’t pretend these chapters met the full standard I pictured in my head, but for now, this is the best shape I can give them. Once the book is complete, I’ll definitely come back to refine and polish.
          
          Please make sure to read the content warnings.
          
          And a small reminder:
          I would never ask anyone to like Caelen or fall in love with him. Whatever opinion you form is entirely your own  so hate him, love him, fear him, analyze him.. I won’t judge you for any of it. He’s a complex character with a long way to go in terms of growth.
