I was born in, 1956, in Gordo, Alabama. After a three year tour in the Army, I returned to Gordo, making it my home. My foremost inspiration to write poetry comes from L.F. Gengery's, "Memory Trail" , Robert Frost, and Edgar Allen Poe. In 2002, I began writing poems that I knew I would enjoy reading. I have always looked at things a little differently and knew I wanted to put those impressions on paper in poetry form. I suppose my poems would be considered light verse due to their rhyming. But, I try to make them unique and have some depth. The poems I am showcasing are compiled into my book, Kept Simple, which I self-published in 2010. I am currently working on another poetry book.
