Hello! I've started writing a queer cosy murder romcom. I've been trying to write this book for three years and keep forgetting who the murderer is and what the main character is like, so I'm just going to wing it with a rough draft and edit it hard once the book is finished. I'll try to update every few days, depending on when I get time to write. It's nice to be writing again!

AsiansReads

Hi there! We're AsiansReads, a profile dedicated to showcasing literary work that features Asian cultures and characters. We're planning to publish an AAPI Pride special chapter in our AsiansReads Magazine to celebrate AAPI month and the upcoming Pride month, and we're wondering if you would like your book to be featured among other books that feature both AAPI and pride themes.

If you agree, since you have multiple eligible books, we'd like to know which one you'd like featured. We're also interested in conducting an author interview with you.

Thank you for your time! :)

@AsiansReads Hi! Thanks a lot for considering my work in your feature <3 My book THE SIGMA ASSET is the only one that is eligible for AAPI month since its protagonist is Korean American, but my other books feature Asian characters who are not American. For Pride Month you might want to consider PARASITE and VERDANT INK which both feature queer main characters and an entirely pan-Asian cast, and CHARLIE features a queer Sikh teenager as a main character. Best of luck with developing the profile!

@pixelmum I have an old one I wrote a few years ago just to try LGBTQ+ out. Afraid I'm not the best writer when it comes to the topic though. It's sci-fi and had a disagreement with on reader cause I assume she thought I was making fun of LGBTQ+ characters by putting them in space. But no. I consider brave women and men who become astronauts' heroes since they have discovered the unknown. And it is possible that a gay man or woman may have already gone up there, but no one is speaking. And terrestrials like ET wouldn't even care how you identify yourself! /Smiles/
