on here though some of my currents favs are “Smoke Screens” by RottenAvacado and “Ephemere” by thinkorpray!

@poemsandpeonies I think the most important thing to remember is to not feel as though you have to rush the plot! Like don’t be afraid to take a few chapters (2 or 3 maybe) to introduce your main character(s) and build off of their backstories, etc. That way, by the time we’re introduced to the love interest, we feel as though we know the mc as more than just one half of a love story. If you try to have the 2 characters immediately meet and form a relationship while still trying to establish your mc’s personality and stuff, it can feel a little rushed and/or jumbled. Once we have a good understanding of WHO your character is, you can continue to build on them through the little things they experience and the people they interact with. I hope that makes sense! I’m at work and writing this on a whim hahaha
