OMG I love your pfp! 

I get to spend 2026 at work with nothing to do. I don’t understand why they called in 8 employees just to stand around because holidays are slow. And have only 3 people work on the busiest time of the week with no backup. 
          
          But I will be getting paid time and a half. So, I guess I shouldn’t be complaining.

Hi everyone, I normally don’t do this but there’s something I wanted to say. 
          
          I’ve heard people have been using AI when hosting mini awards, and it’s even worst when judges use it to provide feedback for contestants. It’s very disappointing when someone wants to improve, only to find out reviews came from a machine. Not only is it lazy, but it risks having someone’s hard work flagged as AI when they had no intention to.
          
          Or when judges don’t even read the book and feed it to AI. As if getting genuine reads is so rare nowadays. And If I do win anything from these “contests” I feel like I didn’t deserve it.
          
          This does not apply to everyone, of course. I have met very kind, authentic hosts and judges. However, it has made it harder to trust anyone now, and all I wanted was to receive support. I’ve learned to avoid hosts who ask for votes on their book as “payment” but won’t accept your entry if the slots are full. And the ones where results get released was too quickly.
