It's stormy and raining, and I just finished watching Stranger Things (wtf was that last scene...my god), and now I am back into my writing cave, so here is a little teaser:
          
          “Nathan,” I mumbled against his neck, breathing him in, “Where have you been all my life?” 
          
          “Well,” he drawled, “I was out there being a menace to humanity, causing mayhem and anarchy, breaking laws, hearts, and occasionally bones, mostly bones...You know—hobbies.” His voice was much lighter, and just what I needed. "You wouldn’t have liked me then." 
          
          I edged back enough to meet his eyes, “You still cause mayhem and anarchy, you can’t even breathe without misbehaving,” I said, my brows lifting, “yet here I am. I still like you.”
          
          
          
          
          
          
          
          The update might be up late tonight or tomorrow, depending on how much I write :)

          "Tolerate?" he repeated, "You...tolerate me?"
          
          “Yes," I snapped. "Tolerate, and turn a blind eye to your toxic behaviors," I said, "But you try to touch my family? I won't let you."
          
          Nathan pushed his hands into his pockets and glanced around the house with a bored sigh. "I recall there being dinner. So when are we eating?" He said, "Because I do not seem to appreciate this warm welcome."
          
          I nearly lost it.
          
          "Stop changing the subject and answer me—"
          
          "No, you stop." His voice tightened, and the crack of his mask was expanding. "I was trying my fucking best to keep it together today. So do not ruin it, Aylin."
          
          
          
          
          
          
          Fighting with Nathan gotta be the most infuriating thing ever xD

          Anyway, here is a little teaser while at it, the new chapter might be up tomorrow:
          
          
          “Let’s leave.” 
          
          “But we just got here,” she said. 
          
          I narrowed my eyes at her, “What’s with this sudden need of yours to stay?” 
          
          Her smile dropped instantly and she shot me a glare. “Nathan, I swear to god,” she grumbled, “if you say what’s going through your mind, I will punch you, and I really won’t care who’ll see it.”
          
          “Whoa,” I said taken aback, “Where did this violent side of yours come from, you’re making me hard, princess,” I pulled her closer, “And a kid’s birthday party is the last place I should get hard at, so let’s leave.”

          My frown deepened, "What?" 
          
          She nodded toward Nikolas, her eyes bright with admiration. “Look at him. My God.”
          
          I blinked, "Huh?" 
          
          She shot me a knowing look and explained, as if this topic was so fucking casual. "He is really handsome, so is Lilly's father, and that other uncle of hers, god, they really won the gene lottery, didn't they?"
          
          What the actual fuck?

          Also we’ve got a two day public holiday here, and the weather is stormy, so i’ve got no plans and intend to only eat, read, and write, so maybe we’d have an early update ;)

          I am halfway done with the chapter, so here is a little teaser while at it: 
          
          She wiped at my neck, her fingers brushing the dried blood from the cut she caused.
          
          I winced, pretended to, anyway.
          
          Her eyes flicked up, all worry and guilt. “Does it hurt?”
          
          I nodded, my lips tugging into a grin.
          
          “Yeah,” I lied, “Wanna kiss it and make it better?”

I am sick with the flu and currently laying under two big blankets, my throat is burning, my brain feels like it’s located in my nose and to feel better, I am planning future scenes for the book, so here is a teaser while at it: 
          
          
          Tears slipped from my eyes. I didn’t understand half of what I was feeling, just that it hurt in places I didn’t know existed.
          
          “You can’t keep doing this,” I whispered, my trembling fingers brushing his cheek. God, he looked so pale, so tired, and it wasn’t right…none of it was right. “You have to take care of yourself. You can’t keep being so reckless with your health...”
          
          His eyelids fluttered shut for a moment. The muscle in his jaw tightened beneath my touch. “Stop doing that,” he rasped, his voice rough. 
          
          I blinked through the blur. “Stop doing what?”
          
          “Stop…just stop giving me reasons to want to live.”
          
          I leaned in until our noses touched, my eyes pressed shut, “But I want you to live,” I breathed, my lips brushing the corner of his mouth. “You have to live, Nathan, I can’t…” my voice broke, “You just have to…”
