Have any of you just... been up til about midnight... And you realize that your childhood imaginary friend looked, acted, had the same chaotic energy, and name of a comic book villain? And it's not like I knew about the comic at the time. They didn't have a child friendly version of it in print... Heck, they still don't have one! My parents never even heard about it! And I didn't have any older siblings either... And it was just something in the back of my mind for years. It starts off with my nostalgia trip tv series buying. I bought Teen Titans, Transformers Animated, and Avatar the Last Airbender. It was in Teen Titans Season 5 where the Doom Patrol is mentioned and some of the main cast are in a few episodes... Later I got a book on DC Comics history. Doom Patrol is briefly mentioned on a few pages. I get interested enough that I bought volume 1 of the comics in the 80s. About halfway through there's this guy named Mr. Nobody who shows up. Okay... No big deal. Same name as my imaginary friend. I ask my dad if he remembers Mr. Nobody. He looks at me all confused. I tell him that he was my imaginary friend when I was a kid. And then I told him that he was the person that would leave the light on in my room. He laughs and tells what I told him what he was like when I was 6. That he was this weird man who looked like he was a bunch of shapes that looked kinda like a guy, but not really. He also said that I told him that he had brown eyes but nothing else on his face and how some times he one of his eyes would just kinda float in the air. Alright, gotta be the weirdest coincidence in my life. But all seems normal. So... apparently my imaginary friend was also kind of a bad guy in my mind. I always thought he was telling me to do bad things like stomp on the teachers foot, knock over the plant, and break my mom's snow globes. He would also would leave the light in my room on in my mind. He caused chaos for lolz. The same vibe Mr. Nobody in the comics gives off.

Yeah... And now he's one of my favorite DC villains.

@Dijimi_The_Great Except mine has existed for over a decade and neither me or my parents knew about the character.
