My love for reading started at a very early age. I would save all my money just to go to the bookstore to purchase books and stay up late reading them. I entered writing contests and enrolled in AP English classes both in high school and college because stories started to play like a movie in my mind, my own characters coming alive on the page. 

   The trajectory of my life took a slightly different path however as I ventured into the world of healthcare. I received my Bachelor's degree in nursing then my Master's degree as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, specializing in maternal child health, urgent care, and primary care settings. Currently I am six months away from completing my Doctoral degree in Nursing and have transferred my clinical skills and knowledge into the world of teaching nursing students- primarily maternal child health and health assessment. 
   Contemporary romance is my focus, but I draw inspiration from thrillers, literary fiction, and everything in between-giving my stories a unique mix of heart, tension, and depth. I have written four YA novels for my personal passion. 
    IF NO ONE KNOWS is a story close to my heart- although fiction, a small piece of it is something I experienced in my own life.
My love for the main characters, Kara and Logan, are at a very deep level as I was sad to end the story but 
I can't wait to share my passion with you and discover yours.
