I remember I used to think that I’d never leave this site. that id be married with kids and somehow still sneaking in to write or read something on here but I’m barely 18 rn and I almost never come on Wattpad anymore. fifteen year old me is sad as hell but as much as I feel that I’ve changed, this site has too. most of the authors I used to be obsessed with no longer write on here and I’ve realized that that’s a good thing. They’re on to better things now and so am I. I just hope that I can maintain that same love for reading fiction that I’ve always had. Wattpad saw me through some of my darkest times and it’s helped me grow and mature and understand so many things, it’s a platform that has always given me the chance to express myself freely in a way that I can’t any where else and for that I am eternally grateful. so for that, I thank this lovely community and the creators, thank you for creating this safe space for teens like me who sought solace during tough times in cheesy romance novels.
