School isn’t going well for me and, honestly, I dream of being able to leave. My mom would be willing to let me quit if writting actually works out and can open doors for me.

That definitely comes through in the writing. The emotions and overthinking felt very authentic, which is probably why Ryan’s situation hits so hard.  Btw I’m a paid artist, your story really inspired me  and I’ve got some comic ideas for your story. Can I share them with you?
