I know it's been a hot minute since I've updated this story, but I've already got the next ten chapters planned out and the next two already written so expect additional updates soon.

I hope everyone is doing well! Summer is coming to a close over here in New England, and I'm actually quite excited for fall, which I never thought I'd say since summer is my favorite season. But, these 90+ degree days have been ROUGH, so I'm looking forward to cozy sweaters, Halloween decorations, and pumpkin-flavored treats! If you're in the northern hemisphere, what are you all most excited about for fall?

@reganryu I visited Leptokarya, which is 5 hours and 10 minutes away from Thessaloniki. It's an amazing tourist destination with lots of shops and beach bars and parks and overall attractions. The view was beautiful - the villa was right by the beach! A great experience overall, and I hope to go back there next year.

Oh, that's wonderful! From what I've seen and heard, it's a great place. I'd like to go there too. I'd also like to go to Italy, especially because I've been learning the language for a while. I hope to travel to as many places as I can. Home is nice, but life's all about exploration (that you can afford), isn't it?

@Milicaorevi7 vacations are the best in the summer, agreed! That sounds so fun - Greece has been on my list for a while. Which islands did you visit?

I recently visited Paris, and I loved every second of it even though the weather wasn’t the best ahaha. Would love to go to Italy and England sometime soon!

@reganryu @reganryu Thank you for understanding ♥️
Same! My favourite season is summer as well. My birthday's in summer, there's no school during summer (not that I'm not studious), I don't like cold weather and prefer when it's sunny, and I also love vacations. I've been to Montenegro in the past and visited Greece this year, and I had such a fun time. What places have you visited?

Hi there,

I hope you don't mind me taking the liberty of messaging here on your profile, but I noticed you're doing the community award thing as well, and I was wondering if perhaps you'd like to join mine:
I'm hosting The Writer at Heart Awards, and I'd love for you to be a part of it! ✨
If you have a minute, you can find the awards on my profile. Thanks for taking the time and see you around in the Watty-sphere ❤️

Dear Regan,

I hope this message finds you well.

My name is Isabelitta. I am a volunteer translator, and I would like to ask for your permission to translate your story "A Dance at Midnight" from English into Brazilian Portuguese. It would be a great pleasure to share the story with a wider audience, if you so wish, and to include it in my portfolio as a representation of my work.

Thank you in advance for your attention. I am available to discuss this further on X (@isabelittalima) if you are interested.

          Kind regards,
          Isabelitta

Hi Isabelitta,

Thanks for the message. I, unfortunately, do not have X and am not looking into translation requests at this time. That being said, thank you so much for reading “A Dance at Midnight” - your support means the world!

Okay, so, obviously, I did not participate in ONC this year (LOL), but the burn out has been crazy, and I've been questioning everything about my life since February, so "One Good Deed" got pushed to the back burner.

That being said, I'm SO EXCITED to report that I'm still super pumped about "One Good Deed," and I just published the very first chapter! I'm still feeling a little blah about life, but I've been wanting to write something, and this story has pushed its way back to the forefront of my mind.

Though I can't promise weekly updates at this time, I can promise regular updates in general. I still love the characters, and the plot is super zany, so I hope you guys will check it out and support it! Thank you, always.

Been a hot minute since I've been on here, but I'm excited to announce that my novella, "One Good Deed," for ONC 2025 is now live! One Good Deed will be a psychological thriller featuring a narcissistic receptionist and suave serial killer - think The Mindy Project meets The Silence of the Lambs.

I'll be publishing the first chapter soon, but, for now, if you'd like to get a sneak peak of what "One Good Deed" will feature, you can read the synopsis and introduction here:

Thank you all for your support! If you are also participating in this year's ONC, let me know what your title is so we can support each other. Happy reading, and, if you're also writing, good luck - we got this!
