is a sweet, whimsical, feminine female character in literature who does not die because the badass main character needs to suffer too much to ask for? are whimsical female main characters too much to ask for? like, yes i like the hot women with the swords and the ability to kill a man in 5 different ways. but i love the girls who are whimsical more. why can't we have female main characters who like to grow flowers and crochet and paint? why can't we have adorable girls who like to dance alone in the rain and talk to animals even though she knows they cannot respond? you are more than capable of making a character strong and hyperfeminine. those are not mutually exclusive. i want a girl who has suffered so much but still finds joy when she sees a flower in the morning or a sunset.
