 #blacklivesmatter it's important to stay educated and disparage any misinformation out there (and there's lots of it). If you can, donate to organizations that support the movement and black communities as well as bailout funds for protestors and sign as many petitions as possible. Things that are free include sharing resources, getting in contact with your local representatives, as well as schools, because racism and the systemic discrimination against black people are ingrained in every single institution there is. It's also very important to call out racism as you see it - even in small microaggressions against BIPOC that may go unnoticed by others. It's crucial that we stand up against this heinous crime against humanity because we've let it go on for too long and the refusal to take action has cost many their lives. I know that this can all seem like a lot, so please take the time to process it and step away from social media if necessary. Stay safe if you're protesting, and help one another.
