But then I checked the review section… and yeah, let’s just say it’s emptier than my fridge on a Sunday night. Brutal truth: readers don’t trust books that look lonely, even if the story slaps.
Here’s the messed-up thing—authors spend money on flashy promos, only for readers to scroll past like “cute, but who said this book is actually good?” . Reviews, not ads, are what make readers bite.
