/Ariste caught the way she fumbled, and a slow, knowing smirk curved onto his lips. He didn’t look at her right away. Instead, he studied the polished table in front of them, admiring his own reflection as if it were far more interesting;

            /His voice carried a light, melodic tease, warm and smooth
            
            He leaned back in his chair, settling comfortably, one arm draped over the backrest while his legs stretched out with lazy confidence. Across from him, she hid behind the raised menu, her hands, probably filled with expensive accessories were the only visible part of her;
            
            You’re terrible at looking at people when you talk to them, Miss Roseliette
            
            /he continued, amusement dancing in his eyes;
            
            Second time now. I’m starting to think it’s a habit.
            
            /Then, as she offered her compliment, he snapped his fingers softly in approval;

            /he said with effortless charm, as if agreeing with her was the most natural thing in the world. He brushed his fingers through his hair, waiting for her to choose from the menu;

            /A quiet chuckle slipped from him at her reaction. He slid into the opposite side of the booth without waiting for a formal invitation. The movement was casual, as if he already felt welcome enough not to question it;

            There was a subtle glint in his eyes... playful, but compose;

            /he added after a beat, voice lowering just a fraction;
