I- this is so hard for me to write, I don't even know where to start. I guess you can say I've been MIA for a while now, the reason being that I am angry and upset. I am angry at the fact that racism is still an issue in America, I am angry that people are MURDERED because of their skin color and people still have the audacity to say racism isn't real anymore, OPEN YOUR EYES, it's real and alive, it hasn't gone away. My heart hurts seeing as people are being shot by rubber bullets and are being tear-gassed for protesting, my heart hurts and cries seeing the injustice that this country has. We haven't changed, nothing has changed, nothing. Black lives matter today, tomorrow, and forever. They are our brothers and sisters, they are our family. 
          I am not black but I will stand with you. 
          I am not black but I will fight for you. 
          I am not black but I will defend you. 
          I am not black but I see you. 
          I am not black but I value you.
