i think one of the biggest issues with humans is that when we say “i'll love you forever” it doesn't mean everything it should. there are complications. just because i'll love you for so long doesn't mean you'll do the same for me, or that you ever did. it doesn't mean that we'll be together that long, either. but, being humans, we assume. and we hope- excerpts from a story i will never write 5//aliens are lucky

and he looked at me with this terribly sad little smile and just nodded his head like he knew that this was it; that this was all it would ever be and that it was time to go. he tried to look like he didn't care and God i wish i did but i didn't and that's why at 2:32 in the morning i smashed the little ukuele into dozens of pieces- excerpts from a story i will never write 4//he helped me

“i'm invincible,” he screamed. i looked over at her and she just smiled as if he did this often. i decided seconds later that he probably did. and, as he yelled about being in love with the guitarist and in love with the world and being in love with lyrics to the songs that made him cry, i realized that you will never feel more invincible or be more in love or cry more than when you see your favorite band in concert- excerpts from a story i will never write 3//and i cried too
