guys update on the recording studio thing
apparently we weren't going to the studio today
my moms friend was coming over with his equipment to record a DEMO for the producer to listen to, and if the producer likes it he'll work with me
anyways
so the recording part was great
my moms friend said my music was really good and had a lot of potential, my voice sounded great (the no soda or dairy thing today really payed off)
then it got kinda shitty
i'm a really outspoken person, i talk about controversial topics a lot, i talk about my thoughts on things a lot because i'm knowledgable ABOUT those things
i got into SUCH a heated debate with him about trump
i was defending abortion rights and stuff and he was aying that trump being a felon doesnt matter if he's gonna fix the economy
like what
the stuff he did to those girls WILL influence his choices about america because it says a LOT about how he thinks and acts
anyways then he was saying stuff about trans people and how you "can
't change genders" because it "doesn't work like that" and how "men and women are meant to be together because thats how God created us"
which made me start raising my voice and saying that people are people, their choices are NOT for us to judge, and that anyone can love who they love because its how THEY feel, not us
because i'm literally bi but he doesnt know that but that just became so personal to me i was gonna cry
he said the only reason i dont like trump is because of taylor swift
like even before she endorsed kamala and biden i'd done my own research on trump and biden and kamala and i made my decision
ever since i was eight years old i've known i hated trump
(i started listening to taylor at ten)
so i just got really upset and went to my room
i'm just trying to separate politics from person but its getting hard when you support a convicted felon
but anyways my demo'll be sent to me by like thanksgiving or so and if i approve it, it'll be sent to the producer!
