Books have always been an integral part of my life. Joined here to relish the awesome creations of many ingenious minds.

Currently my favourite genre is fantasy. Been reading mostly fantasy works since the last 4-5 years. A huge fan of Steven Erikson. Malazan Book of the Fallen is my favourite fantasy series,closely followed by Glen Cook's Chronicles of the Black Company. Other favourites are G.R.R.Martin, J.R.R.Tolkien,Brandon Sanderson,Jim Butcher,Andrzej Sapkowski, J.K.Rowling and many more.

Other favourite genres are Sci-Fi, Horror(Stoker and Poe-esque),Classics(Dickens,Conan Doyle,Brontes,Stowe,Hilton and countless others),new age books with the classic feels(eg-The Book Thief,The Kite Runner,A 1000 Splendid Suns etc) and such.

An ardent admirer of classic poetry and hence made a few humble attempts at writing poems. Big fan of the poetry giants such as Wordsworth,Keats,Shelley,Byron,Tennyson,Yeats,Longfellow etc. Love the structure of their poems and so have tried writing in their veins using rhyming structures(biased towards rhyming). Another huge influence while writing poems and songs is Dani Filth(he is maybe even in my top 10 favourite poets of all time).
