A resident of Jacksonville, Florida, Scott Westerman is the founder and CEO of Ramirez and Clark, a publishing company that caters to independent authors. He oversaw the launch of the business as well as its revenue generation strategies and business development. Within the first year of starting the company, he handled the publishing of six books. Scott Westerman, formerly of Michigan, is also a published author of 10 books. These include a self-help publication based on over 400 weekly essays that were published on his website.
Prior to getting into publishing, Mr. Westerman spent four decades in the telecommunications industry. With a bachelor of arts in telecommunications, he served as a program director of MacDonald Broadcasting and regional vice president of Comcast. He is also the founder of Emergency Email Network. Through these roles, he developed strategic alliances, personnel negotiation skills, and marketing strategies concerning broadcasting and telecommunications operations.
For the past five years, Scott Westerman has served as director of the Florida Cable Television Association. In 2005 he was inducted into the Midwest Cable Hall of Fame.
