"Please allow me to introduce myself,
I am one of misconception.
I've been around since the 1980's,
When neon was the fashion"
Lol that was taken partially from the Rolling Stones when they sang "Sympathy to the Devil"
Anyway here it goes:
My life has been roller coaster of ups and downs. I was born in North Carolina in 1981, moved around some until I ended up in Texas where my extended family lives. I've grew up with my cousins which I've have many fond memories with with. My school life however; was not the best. I was bullied up until after 8th grade for being the "fat kid". At 15 I wrote my first poem called We never Had a Chance to Say "Good-bye" From then on I was writing poetry. I started writing short stories after high school along with my poetry. I went to a community college for two years then quit for stupid reasons I'd rather not discuss. My lowest point was 2004 when I was diagnosed with bipolar depression and have to take pills all my life for it. My poetry continued. My poetry is mainly about being depressed and long for a special someone to enter my life permanently. Yet there is more than meets the eyes when it comes to me. I also write lighthearted to children's poetry as well.
