cade c. jackson is the captain of the crwydryn y môr, meaning “ sea wanderer ” in welsh. he’s most known for the rumors that have spread across land && sea about how his father died during a brutal storm out at sea ( && that cade was aboard the ship at the time, too ). not only that, but his ship was attacked && seized, his very young && adopted daughter being killed in the process. furthermore, his whole crew was killed right before his eyes; not once, but twice. two different crews, completely murdered in his presence. all of these facts ( && more ) are exactly why he has been deemed the WORST CAPTAIN of the SEVEN SEAS, hence the reason no one will join him && board his ship these days. cade now carelessly sails the seas alone, drinking away his pain && distracting himself from the harsh truths that not many people know, && none of which the rumors included . . . but that’s okay. he’s put on an armor of sarcasm && a stoic facade that convinces everyone that crosses his path, the consistent declaration from the lonely pirate captain is true: “ all is lost, but myself. how can i be lost, if i’ve got nowhere to go ? ” what a pity. one can be lost whether they have a set path or not. && captain cade c. jackson is certainly lost. he’s lost himself, being a mere shell of who he once was ! he blames himself for EVERYTHING.
