     My name is Katrina, I am Asian. I love cats  I was born in the Philippines. A beautiful, tropical country of exotic fruits, lovely flowers and warm smiles. 
          	     I love books. It is like a door to another dimension. It takes me to distant and fantastic places when I need a break, or when I just want to be away from the harsh realities of this world. 
          	     I would like to try writing a book one day soon, but I have no idea how to start... 
          	     Well, maybe I'll start with a short story. Something light, fun and interesting. I hope the story gets feedback from readers because surely I could use their advice to help me write better stories later on.
          	     I am new on Wattpad. I mean it's my first time to read books on my android tab. I am so thrilled to be on Wattpad.

@linahanson it is wonderful to find people who share the same passion for books. 
          	  No matter how far away our countries are and how different our culture & language, written words can bridge the distance. I am glad to have met you here on wattpad. I hope you won't mind, I "followed" you (and some of my favorite writers here like @shalonsims & katrinaburgess) hoping that I would get notified for updates and also when you post a new story.

@shadowshooter Hi - starting to write your stories offline is not a bad idea... I had everything outside WP and only posted the chapters when I'm ready... XD And thank so you SO much for your kind words! 
          	  I also have a good old-fashioned bookshelf with BOOKS. My favourites, I read them all over again. Have been for years. No ebook can replace that feel!

Thank you too, for your wonderful stories.. Wow, your story is gonna be a movie!? COOL!!! I pray you'll have many, many more books published. I mean wattpad is great but not quiet as wonderful as the feel & smell of a good book. Have a great weekend..

@lkrice I'm a farm girl at heart. I was born in a big old house surrounded by a sugar plantation, coconuts, huge mango trees and lots of farm animals. C❤ats have always been my favorite because they are quiet, they keep themselves clean, and they are deeply loyal & affectionate.

@lkrice it's sad but in my country there are many who don't like cats. Walking your dog is "fashionable" and sort of a status symbol though... The more expensive the dog's breed (and the blings they have on their dogs) now that's like walking with a movie star on a leash! My rescues are sick, abandoned, sometimes physically abused cats but they have recovered now. There's a river just behind my house and it has become a habit to check regularly for kittens & other pets that heartless owners toss out when they don't like them anymore.

@lkrice Thank you. Languages and dialects becomes a bit easier when a person has a keen interest in reading, I think. Btw we both have one more thing in common besides our passion for books. CATS! I adore my furbabies. I have 2 Persians and a blue-eyed Japanese rag-doll. And 15 rescued strays who are now residing in my garden. I love them all.
