     My name is Katrina, I am Asian. I love cats  I was born in the Philippines. A beautiful, tropical country of exotic fruits, lovely flowers and warm smiles. 
          	     I love books. It is like a door to another dimension. It takes me to distant and fantastic places when I need a break, or when I just want to be away from the harsh realities of this world. 
          	     I would like to try writing a book one day soon, but I have no idea how to start... 
          	     Well, maybe I'll start with a short story. Something light, fun and interesting. I hope the story gets feedback from readers because surely I could use their advice to help me write better stories later on.
          	     I am new on Wattpad. I mean it's my first time to read books on my android tab. I am so thrilled to be on Wattpad.

@linahanson it is wonderful to find people who share the same passion for books. 
          	  No matter how far away our countries are and how different our culture & language, written words can bridge the distance. I am glad to have met you here on wattpad. I hope you won't mind, I "followed" you (and some of my favorite writers here like @shalonsims & katrinaburgess) hoping that I would get notified for updates and also when you post a new story.

@shadowshooter Hi - starting to write your stories offline is not a bad idea... I had everything outside WP and only posted the chapters when I'm ready... XD And thank so you SO much for your kind words! 
          	  I also have a good old-fashioned bookshelf with BOOKS. My favourites, I read them all over again. Have been for years. No ebook can replace that feel!

@shalonsims I'm sorry that my votes are late, but I don't have a fulltime wifi connection. I am using prepaid data on my tab-phone to connect to the internet. And sometimes it takes awhile before I can reload, I usually do it on Thursdays and Sundays because I don't want to miss out when you update your stories. :-)

Hi there Katrina and thank you so much for the vote on my completely zany story . You love cats as well XD. I joined wattpad around the same time as you did. @shadowshooter  I know. I have the same problem i almost have a farm of animals myself a collection of raggle taggle refugees from shelters and rescue's. And yes same as me I have a hard drive on life support and by the time I get to write anything meh  I am usually groping in the dark to stay awake. Its called madness ha ha. Pen and paper why not all the classics written by candlelight and quills . My wifi is a joke i mean a joke and blows out in summer wind never mind storms so i feel your pain. Have a great weekend and don't feel alone I would read the back of a cereal box just out of sheer pigheadedness ( oh that's a word shock horror!! ) best of wishes to you we just love our animals so much. @Kristiekc I have been doing some scribblings on paper.  I write down my "thoughts" so I could polish it when I can have some real time for myself. And maybe I can make a full story,  a book.  But for now that's just a dream because I work full time, even when I get home there's laundry,  some tidying up the house,  feeding the pets, cooking...  But the worse thing is my wifi connection at home is really bad.  And we're not allowed to use office computers for personal stuff,  hence the pen and paper.  Lol.  Thanks for the message, it made my day brighter.  :-)
