I am a Caribbean girl, I love music and psychology and action and sci-fi ( I have come to realise). I'm currently studying Psychology. I write poetry and short stories and I'm going to give the novel thing a try now.  I never liked reading growing up I found it difficult and the books my mother would give me all seemed to be less than my standard of interest. :( But now I have developed a love for reading, I always loved writing but I knew that my lack of reading would have probably affected my writing skills.  I will be trying to keep some of my local culture and language in my works but I'll try not to confuse anyone too much.
