I’m back in my Rafael Barba obsession 😭 TikTok has been feeding me way too many edits and now I have another fic idea.
          
          Season 14. New ADA. OC has already been at SVU for two years.
          
          Strangers → friends → lovers. Proper slow burn.
          
          But there’s something else going on too.
          
          One of the first cases she ever worked at SVU was supposed to be over.
          
          Closed.
          
          Buried.
          
          Then someone connected to it comes back.
          
          And suddenly it becomes very clear that whatever happened back then was never really finished.
          
          Rafael gets pulled into it because he’s the new ADA, and that’s basically where their story starts.
          
          I don’t want to reveal too much about her either. I want the reader to slowly figure her out as everything unfolds.
          
          Face claim is Melissa Fumero, very Amy Santiago-inspired personality-wise.
          
          Anyway… Rafael Barba has me again and this may be dangerous 😭

@shakespearecatt Awwww I KNOW 😭 TikTok fully dragged me back into the Barba trenches again 😂 I forgot how fun he is to write, especially all the sarcasm and attitude. I’m already getting way too attached to this idea lol. And I’m excited for your next chapter too!! ❤️

btw I wanted to say your series has to be by far the best I’ve read of barba so far I’m trying to find a new one to read in the meantime but my head keeps going back to Reagan and barba most of the series those other series don’t compare to yours!

Sorry I've been MIA my ferals. One of my cats passed away and I was taking time to myself to grieve. I will miss her so so so much but she had been battling some health problems for a few years now. She went peacefully. The good news is I've been feeling very inspired - next chapter very much in progress and coming together nicely. Remember to take time for yourself if you need it <3

I’m soooo sorry for your loss! :( my two small dogs were just attacked by a vicious dog in our neighborhood unprovoked on Aug 12th and our 5 yr old boy didn’t make it. So I’ve been halted myself and beside myself. I’m so sad, I fully understand the pain you were going through. Pets leave such a beautiful mark on our hearts and lives.
