Hello, Sharmika! I hope you're doing well. I apologize for the sudden interruption, but I wanted to reach out to you regarding a novel I'm currently working on. It'll be the first work I'll complete on Wattpad, and although I'm proud of it, I've noticed that the number of readers is quite limited.

Ugh.
          I know I know I know. I KNOW WHAT Y'ALL GOT TO SAY.
          I say the same thing to myself.
          
          Here I am, to say hello to my friends who still care about my presence/absence on this amazing platform.
          Also to apologize for vanishing.
          Not that I need to give reasons or excuses or justifications but I know how frustrating it is to have an author leave a book hanging. I saw comments asking me to update chapters and I know, having been gone through the agony of waiting for new chapters myself, I should really get back to it.
          
          November '22 to June '23 has seen me shed skin and put on a cloak over my newly-grown THICKER skin.
          
          Now comes the main character energy:
          So I shifted from my hometown to a new city (job location) with my mom, almost got broke in the process. I'm super bad at my job, got fired twice blah blah.You can imagine what that does to a innocent soft heart like mine... (Dramatic sigh)
          I have a penchant for attracting horrible bosses.
          
          Things learnt:
          
          -How costly everything is
          -To maintain budget book and cut costs
          -to make new friends
          -to lose some friends 
          -to unwillingly keep people close for selfish reasons 
          -to take care of myself and be comfortable alone
          -to cook a whole meal in the shortest time possible with the least ingredients available (and the opposite)
          -to negotiate rent with landlord
          -to say 'NO'
          -to step out of comfort zones
          -to not take things personally
          -to let go
          -to be grateful 
          
          Life's been crazy as you can see, financially, emotionally and physically. 
          
          Regardless, when I look back at my first book... It feels so surreal. Like some other personality possessed me into writing that and now I can't seem to even remember that it was ever written by me!! It's a weird feeling, surely most of you have it.
          I need to re-re-read my books, and edit them in order to get my groove or something back. Until then I'll be on Wattpad and try my best to stay in touch.

Hey there, Sharmee. Miss you so much, yaar. Honestly, Wattpad isn't the same without you. It feels empty and gloomy. I miss Eleni and Doran and Ralph and Una and all the rest, So. Much. You probably won't see this, but I really , really hope you decide to come back here someday, pick up your pen, and take us on great adventures once again.
