Shayne Keetley began his career in meteorology with Environment and Climate Change Canada after he graduated from the University of Alberta. He began his career as an aviation forecaster in Edmonton before becoming a senior meteorologist in Vancouver. He has also acted as manager of the Air Quality Sciences Unit and the National Laboratory West.
